“Teaching music is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens. If a child hears fine music from the day of their birth, and learns to play it themselves, they develop sensitivity, discipline and endurance. They get a beautiful heart.”-Shinichi Suzuki
In music class we do everything from singing, dancing, moving, learning to read music, and playing instruments. Most of what we do in music requires everyone to play apart so participation and effort are a big part of music class. Below I have a link to my classroom rules and Class Dojo. These are the tools I use in class to make sure we have the best music making experiences possible.
